The ultimate itinerary for a tiger lover. This program revolves around the Tiger and its habitat in Ranthambhore, Bandhavgarh Kanha national parks. All these national parks are famous for Tiger sightings worldwide. On this wildlife journey you will have an opportunity to know why tigers are symbolic for power, mystery and splendor. The whole experience would be very different and chances are it would stay forever in your memory. The Jungle calls by Deers, Monkeys and birds which are nothing short of final lap of Grand Prix. Emotions run high on fear, apprehension, uncertainty and happiness. This is an experience for which you would never forget. Along with this, also experience the fusion of twin cities of new old Delhi, ride on a Rickshaw through the fascinating narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk in old Delhi, visit the awe inspiring Taj Mahal an architectural marvel and the Elephanta caves in Mumbai.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi (BY AN INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT)

Upon your arrival at Delhi airport, our representative will meet you and will transfer you to your hotel.

Welcome to India!! Upon arrival please clear immigration formalities and proceed to exit gate where you will be met and greeted by our representative with a placard. You will be transferred to your hotel where you can relax and unwind. Stay for two nights in Delhi.

Perhaps there is no other capital city in the world so steeped in history and legend as the Indian capital Delhi. It was the magnet, which drew the Mongols, Turks, Persians, Afghans, Mughals and the British, all of whom contributed to its glorious but turbulent past. The fascination with Delhi was such that even though it was abandoned many times, its rulers returned to it again and again rebuilding it at least seven times. Today, the twin cities of Old and New Delhi still intrigue Indians and tourists alike as the cultural and political capital of the largest democracy in the world. Amidst the fast spiraling skyscrapers the remnants of a bygone time in the form of its many monuments stand as silent reminders to the region’s ancient legacy. The first impressions for any visitor traveling in from the airport are of a specious, garden city, tree-lined with a number of beautiful parks.

Day 02: Delhi

Today morning proceed for sightseeing of Old Delhi where you come across the heritage of Mughal times. Drive past Red Fort, renowned landmark of 17 th century. Visit Jama Masjid; the largest mosque in India built in red sandstone with extensive use of marble, with relics of the Prophet and Holy Quran enshrined here. Between the mosque and Chandni Chowk is a narrow shop-lined street along which you will be transported by cycle rickshaws on your most photogenic journey of the tour. Chandni Chowk was Shahjahanabad’s Main Street in 1650, facing the majestic Red Fort.

Afternoon drive past New Delhi built in a typically British colonial style and designed by Lutyens with tree-lined avenues, colonial bungalows. The drive will include photo opportunities at some of the following attractions - the exterior the Parliament House, the War Memorial Arch (India Gate) and the Vice Regal Palace, now the official residence of the President of India in New Delhi. Conclude your day with visit to Qutub Minar; built at a height of 72.5m, and being one of the most important landmarks of Delhi. Evening enjoy exploring the local markets on own.

Day 03: Delhi - Ranthambore (BY TRAIN: GOLDEN TEMPLE MAIL (0720/1250 HRS)

Today early morning you will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to railway station to board the train to Ranthambore.

Upon arrival in Ranthambore at 1250 hrs, you will be transferred to hotel.

Ranthambore National Park is a vast wildlife reserve near the town of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan, northern India. Comprising 1334 sq km of wild jungle scrub hemmed in by rocky ridges, at its centre is the 10th-century Ranthambhore Fort and the Ganesh Mandir temple.It is a former royal hunting ground and home to tigers, leopards and marsh crocodiles.

Day 04: Ranthambore

Today proceed for an early morning Jeep Safari inside the National park. Post game drive return to hotel for breakfast.

In the afternoon proceed for another Jeep Safari into the National park.

Day 05: Ranthambore - Bharatpur - Agra (BY TRAIN – GOLDEN TEMPLE (1230/1458 HRS) 60 KMS (01 ½ Hours drive)

Early morning enjoy one last safari at Ranthambhore National park to catch the glimpse of Indian Tigers.

Later on time you will be picked up from hotel and transfer to railway station to board the train to Bharatpur. Upon arrival in Bharatpur, you will be driven to Agra.

Upon arrival check in at hotel.

Agra came into limelight during the rule ofAfghan King Sikandar Lodhi - who had made it thecapital of his empire. Later in 1526 A.D., the Mughal Emperor Babar tookupon himself the task for renderingAgra, a uniquecharacter and beauty of its own. The next few hundred years of Agra witnessed the riseof the pomp and pageantry of three great Mughal monarchs - Emperor Akbar, Jehangir and Shahjahan. In modern times, the city of Agra is a thriving carpet industry where you can also find leather workers; sandstone and marble sculptors, some of whom claim to be direct descendants of the craftsmen who had helped build the Taj Mahal. Agra in terms of ambiance is still associated with its Mughal period. The Mughals besides being great rulers were also great builders and they preserved their best architectural wonders for Agra its neighborhoods.
Evening enjoy visit of local markets.

Day 06: Agra - kanti - Bandhavgarh (BY TRAIN - NZM JBP EXPRESS (2030/0640 HRS) 100 KMS (02 ½ Hours drive)

Sunrise visit to The Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays). Midway battery buses would be waiting for you and will drop you at the gates of the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is everything that has been said about it and more. Taking 22 years and 20,000 men to build, the white marble was quarried 200 miles away and was transported to the site by a fleet of 1000 elephants. Taj Mahal - perhaps the most photographed monument in the world. However, no matter how many pictures you have seen or no matter how high your expectations are, the Taj never lets you down - the unparalleled glory and beauty of the building surpasses beyond all human imaginations. Spectacular monument built for love. Besides perfect symmetry in every aspect of its construction, the inlay work of semi precious stones into marble in pietra dura style is absolutely remarkable, later return to hotel for breakfast.

In the afternoon you will be visiting Agra Fort, an outstanding example of Mughal architecture. Agra Fort - the seat and the stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. This was the seat of Mughal rule and administration and the present structure owes its origins to Akbar who erected the walls and gates and the first buildings on the eastern banks of Yamuna River. Its massive walls stretch for 2½ km and are surrounded by a moat over 10 metres wide. The fort is really a city within a city, which embraces the Moti Masjid, the Diwan-i-Am or the Hall of Public Audiences, the Diwan-i-Khas or the Hall of Private Audiences, the Octagonal Tower, Jehangir’s Palace and many more monuments. Conclude your sightseeing with visit to Itmad-ud-Daula Tomb; also nick named as Baby Taj .It was the first Mughal structure built completely from marble, the first to make extensive use of pietra dura and the first tomb to be built on the banks of the Yamuna, which until then had been a sequence of beautiful pleasure gardens.

Later on time transfer to railway station to board the overnight train to Katni.
Overnight on board Train (You can either have early dinner at local restaurant or take a packed dinner).

Day 07: Bandhavgarh

Arrive Katni around 0700 hrs by train from Agra. Upon arrival you will be driven to Bandhavgarh.

BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK - The reserve named after the highest hill Bandhavgarh (807 m) in the centre of it, is . Bandhavgarh has been an excellent habitat of tiger and is known for the highest density of tiger population in India. It consists of a core area of 105 sq km and a buffer area of approximately 400 sq km of topography varies between steep ridges, undulating, forest and open meadows.Bandhavgarh also beholds the largest breeding population of leopards and various species of deer. Bandhavgarh National Park consists of mixed vegetations ranging from tall grasslands to thick Sal forest and so is the perfect habitat of variety of animals and birds. Due to varied topography, the Bandhavgarh national park provides ample opportunity to spot the majestic Indian tiger and some rarely seen animals like leopard and sloth bear.

Today afternoon proceed for a Jeep Safari inside the National park.

Day 08: Bandhavgarh

Today proceed for an early morning Jeep Safari inside the National park. Post game drive return to hotel for breakfast.

In the afternoon proceed for another Jeep Safari into the National park.

Day 09: Bandhavgarh - Kanha ((270 kms / 06 Hours drive))

Post breakfast, you will be driven to Kanha National Park. Upon arrival check-in to your hotel.

Situated in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, the picturesque KANHA NATIONAL PARK was the inspiration behind Rudyard Kiplings unforgettable classic Jungle Book. Spreading across two revenue districts the Mandala and the Kalaghat, Kanha National Park was declared a reserve forest in 1879 and revalued as a wildlife sanctuary in 1933. The Kanha National Park is the ideal home for wide ranges of wild creatures; right from the mighty tigers to the most populated Barasingha and the countless species of plants, birds, reptiles and insects.

In the afternoon proceed for Jeep Safari into the National park.

Day 10: Kanha (By Surface : 02 - 03 Hours approx)

Today early morning proceed for an early morning Jeep Safari inside the National park. Post Jeep safari, return to hotel for breakfast.

In the afternoon proceed for another Jeep Safari into the National park.
Overnight in Kanha.

Day 11: Kanha - Nagpur - Mumbai ((280 kms / 7 hours drive))

Today morning you will be driven to Nagpur aiport to board the flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival in Mumbai you will be met and transferred to hotel.

The Mumbai city, also known by the name Bombay, situated on the west coast of India, facing the Arabian Sea, also hosts one of the popular Harbours in India. The name Mumbai was evolved from the name of the Kali Goddess and the Marathi word “Aai” which means mother. European writer Gaspar Correia called Mumbai as a Bombain in his book “”Lendas da India” in 1508. After the British took the control of Mumbai in the 17 th century, they changed the name in to Bombay. Mumbai is an economic powerhouse and is the fastest moving, most affluent and the most industrialized city in India.

Day 12; Mumbai (By Surface: 04 - 05 Hours approx)

Today morning proceed the visit of Elephanta Caves.

The Elephanta Caves (an hour away from Mumbai by motor launch) are located in Western India on Elephanta Island (otherwise known as the Island of Gharapuri), which features two hillocks separated by a narrow valley. The small island is dotted with numerous ancient archaeological remains that are the sole testimonies to its rich cultural past. These archaeological remains reveal evidence of occupation from as early as the 2nd century BC. The rock-cut Elephanta Caves were constructed about the mid-5th to 6th centuries AD.The best known is the one that depicts the Maheshmurti – a three – headed image of Lord Shiva, which signifies the creator, preserver and destroyer of this universe as per Hindu mythology. The Portuguese named this island after a large stone elephant that was found near the landing. The elephant now stands at the Victoria and Albert Museum on the mainland.

Afternoon proceed for half day sightseeing of Mumbai, visit the Prince of Wales Museum built in grand Indo Saracenic style, drive past Marine Drive, Mumbai’s most popular seaside promenade, and see the Kamla Nehru Park and Hanging Gardens on the slopes of the Malabar hills, offering a nice view of the marine lines and the Chowpatty beach. Visit the Jain temple, Mani Bhawan where Mahatma Gandhi used to stay, and the Dhobi Ghat. Drive past the Flora Fountain, the colourful Crawford Market and Victoria Terminus train station.

Day 13: Departure Mumbai (BY AN INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT)

Today on time our representative will meet you at the hotel lobby transfer you to airport to board your flight for back home.
